My reviews are not in any way intended to be a substitute for the National Park Service tour brochures. In writing the reviews I assume the reader has already read the specific NPS brochure. So be sure to read the brochures first as I leave out much of the detail about the tour sites. The main intent of my reviews is to point out buildings, memorials and other unique things I saw on my visit.
All of the NPS brochures were published between 1997 and 2005 so some sites, especially privately owned ones, have changed since publication. I point out any of these changes with time as well as the occasional historical, geographical and other errors in the brochures (an incredibly tiny number, great job NPS).
