I started with this image of Tux, the Linux Penguin. Using Paint Shop
Pro, I removed the wings, increased the color depth and retouched the
left foot. Next I created the thermometer, anemometer and, new wings as separate new layers in the image. After aligning everything just
right, I made a copy of the image. The image copy was converted to 256 colors,
merged into a single layer and scaled down.
